COVID-19 INFORMATION
TRAFFIC LIGHT SYSTEM
MY VACCINE PASS
To operate during Red or Orange settings of the TLS for activities based on-site at Adventure Southland, we are required to use a vaccine certificate system. This means that anyone aged over 12 years and 3 months will only be able to enter the facility if you have a verifiable My Vaccine pass.
If you’ve had two Covid-19 vaccine doses, it’s easy to get a pass, just follow the instructions here: Get a My Vaccine Pass.
CONTACT TRACING
All people coming onto our site, will be required to scan in using the NZ COVID Tracer App, or complete a contact tracing register at all levels of the TLS.
SOCIAL DISTANCING AND CAPACITY LIMITS
When arriving on-site please ensure only one person reports in at Reception. We ask that all other participants wait in car park until this is completed. At this time, we will advise you what area your group will be using during their visit. Please only use the facilities assigned to your area, and do not enter any other areas of the premises unnecessarily.
To limit the number of people on site, we ask that spectators are kept to a minimum.
All groups need to ensure they are maintaining physical distance where possible, and 2m distance from those outside their bubble, during their time on-site. Our instructors will endeavour to maintain physical distance where possible
Maximum capacity of 100 people applies at TLS Red settings, but may be smaller depending on activity. You will be notified of any capacity limits when booking.
FACE MASKS
Face masks must be worn by anyone over the age of 12 entering our facility. Face masks are not mandatory during exercise, but are strongly encouraged, particularly when on the ground and close to others. Face masks must be worn for all team building activities and classroom-based sessions.
Our instructors will wear face coverings for all on- and off-site activities excluding water-based activities where it is impracticable to do so.
Face coverings may be removed to eat or drink, to communicate with someone who is hard of hearing, or any other situation that falls within the governments guidelines.
HAND SANITISING
Hand sanitising stations will be set up on entry into the classrooms and the main office, with hand washing facilities in all bathrooms.
Hand sanitising will be required before and after each activity, e.g. climbing, high ropes.
ILLNESS
If any participant is unwell, has been in contact with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19, or is awaiting test results we ask that they do not enter our premises. Please get in touch to reschedule your booking.
Please Note: this policy is subject to change inline with government guidelines and requirements.
